So, it's kind of interesting to find out many other people in the US have my same name!! How many have your same name? When my parents named me my Mom decided to spell my name K.A.R.I. instead of C.A.R.R.I.E because she thought it would be easier for me to spell. At that time (way back 34 years ago, LOL) she thought she "invented" the spelling to my name! Well, let me tell you I come across quite a few people who spell their name like mine all the time! There is even another gal in my ward who spells her name exactly like mine. And there are a total of 3 Kari's, but the third one spells her name differently (Carie).
And one other thing of note, I was named after one of my half brothers, Rob. Well actually his name is Carey Robbin. We have the same Dad and different Mom's. When he was born his Mom already had my older brother who she named Corey Robert and she really wanted a girl the second time around so she picked out the name, despite the gender. Rob has always went by Rob instead of Carey. But he had a hard time with his parents divorcing and so my Mom thought it might help him to feel more a part of the family to name me after him. And my middle name, which is Lynn is after my Mom, Linda. How did you get your name?

There are 28 other people with my name. Strangely I have no idea how my parents decided on the name Jill. They thought I was going to be a boy and they were going to name me Chad. Go figure.
I mentioned this on Annalisa's blog, but I went to high school with a girl who had my same 'full' name. It was kind of a strange thing...Everyone always had to clarify CR#1 or CR#2!
When I did the search it came up with 2...Funny, I think I know the other gal with my name, we went to high school together! :)
There are 2 other people with my name (my maiden name that is) and none with my married... helps to have such an odd, hard to spell and pronounce last name.
And Kari, I have TWO neices named Kari... we call one Kari Jo just to keep them seperate!
So Kris, are they both spelled like my name is? Interesting!!
There is only 1 with my first name as Krista (with my current last name) and 2 with my full name (Kristina). A few more with my maiden name (up to 7). I am not sure how they got my name, but I have always liked the versitility. I have gone by Krissy, Kris, Kristi, Krista and Kristina!
I had one person with Jenny but like 8 with Jennifer and my last name.
There are 14 other people with my same name. It's funny to see someone else that has the same name and spelled the same way as mine. My middle name is also Lynne only with and 'e'. I was named after one of my mom's cousins that was dying of cancer when I was born.
Do you ever have anyone spell your name correct the first time? I've only had 2 people my whole 27 yrs. that have spelled it right without having to ask me.
