Sending out the Valentines!!
Sending out the Happy Valentine's Day cards to our extended families and friends!! Since we were moving over the holidays, we opted to wait and send out Valentine's instead!!
Our letter.
Some of our stacks.
And a little side note, if you want to read a great love story, check out Katie's Blog http://find-my-pace.blogspot.com/2007/01/thanks-for-1.htm and read about how her husband loves her. (For some reason, blogger won't let me do a hot link there, so you'll have to cut and paste.)
More house pictures...this time of the Study.
~Our Study~
(This is for you, Krista!!)
A view of our study from the doorway. It's still a work in progress but it's looking better than it did a week ago!! And notice that great new lamp I found for a bargain price last week in the corner!
Another view of our study. You can see my Valentines letters on the desk!

Really cute! Your very talented and it's a great idea with your situation of just moving there. Cute cute!
I'll look forward to getting the picture and newsletter! The first study picture didn't show up for some reason. But from the 2nd picture, you have quite a copier/fax machine/printer!
I love the valentines card idea. I bet everyone will love getting a nice surprise.
You are too sweet. I think all of our husbands love us in their own ways, and isn't it cool to figure out how he shows it to you in his own personal way.
Loving the house
what a great idea. We got a valentine letter from a family one year instead of christmas cards. I love your picture--cute.
We got a Valentines day card yesterday in the mail from my neice who had moved, with new pictures adn their address. That was really fun to receive! What a great idea!!!
What a fabulous idea Kari! And you know what, I am not sending out Christmas cards any longer! From this day forward, all my friends and loved ones will receive Valentine's Day cards in the mail instead!
I am so thankful you posted this. The thought never even crossed my pea brain to do this! :)
p.s. Where did you have your Valetines picture cards made?
Dana, I had them made at Costco.
I downloaded the pictures and picked the design at home. Then I just went to Costco to pick them up. They were ready the next day!
I am really thinking about switching from Christmas Cards to Valentines Cards too. It makes more sense to me, since Valentines Day is a day we show our love and it is way less busy and crazy than Christmas!!
Glad you liked it!! :)
Where and how did you design these at home? Is there a program you used?
I think they look awesome!
Dana,
It is REALLY easy! I cannot take credit at all. You just choose from one of Costco's templates, just like when you order the Christmas cards. Then you upload the photo you want to go with it.
Easy peasy!!
