Bolder Boulder!

Bolder Boulder!!

Our training is winding down and the big race day is this weekend!! We hopefully are going to get in one more long run and one short one before Monday and of course we won't run at all on Sunday. Kayla is excited and so am I.

This race has many different waves (start times for various different speeds of runners). Our wave will include lots of youth since Kayla is doing this with a group for her school. I will be running with her even though there will be lots of other kids there too. It should be lots of work and lots of fun!!

We had our final meeting the other night and got our T-Shirts. They are very cool looking. They are white with Lime Green and Chocolate Brown lettering. That's always an added perk, right? If you like the shirt, the race was worth it!! (hee hee)

Today I'm going to PF Changs with some girlfriends. I'm sad to say that a couple of my better girlfriends are moving away. Though I haven't taken a whole lot of time for my friends lately, I am just getting back into my groove with it. And now, these two are moving. One is moving to Phoenix and one to St. George. I'm going to miss them!

I hope everyone has a fantastic Memorial Day weekend!

Good Luck! Normally, we are there so I know where you'll be and how it is! It's fun and enjoy "And I'm Proud to Be An American!"

Good luck with the race! I will be stuffing my face with your infamous Nephi Salad recipe. Pressure's on for you to perform in two arenas on Monday. :-)

I hope the race goes well! Eat lots of carbs tonight. Can't wait to see updated photos. And yes, the shirt is always a bonus if it's cool! :)

Love PF Chang's! I ate there on Friday and it was so yummy. Hope the race went well. I would love to run in Boulder Boulder some day. So many friends have done it and have loved it. Hope all is well. Take care!
