This week Lelly's challenge was to show how I played with others. Well, I play with my kids all the time.
As it happens, this week we have had a lot of family time with it being Spring Break and my oldest daughter's birthday. So I did not really get the chance to gather/"play" with my friends/extended family in person.
This is how I got together with my Sister, and my Mom this weekend.
I was able to have some nice chats with both of them.
And I was able to gather/"play" with my friends in this way.
I'm not sure if the internet makes me more social or less social. In one sense it gives me more opportunities for interaction via email and messageboards. And in yet another sense I think it takes away opportunities of gathering with friends in real life because my discretionary time is then used up.
At any rate, it is safe to say I love getting together with friends and family and plan on doing it more than we have. Each month I think we are doing better and better and hopefully we'll keep it up.

oh, i totally thought about posting a photo of me in front of my computer screen, because i really feel like i've found so many wonderful, caring friends through blogging this year!! i wish we could all get together and PLAY!!
I think we must have been on the same wave length and I even think we have the same phone! Crazy. I was thinking about how I use my cell phone to talk to all my "away" friends. But I stuck with the neighbor theme. Great post!

I love playing on the internet with all my sistas! I also have to play on the phone with my Mom and sis since we live so far away, but it's nice we can chat all the time. Cute pics!
How cute that you put pictures of you on the phone and on the internet, I'm that way most of my days and would consider that a way I play well with others too. (I didn't think of that though.)

Great idea to use your phone and computer. I use these to "get together" with all of my friends and family that live away from me.

Internet - especially Blogging - has been a hugely wonderful way for me to get together with friends. Great take on SPT!
This would have been my take too had I had my head in it yesterday.
The way I'm choosing to use my discretionary times these days too. And now I don't have to use some of that time to fix my hair and make up! More time for the internet for me! Yea!
Love this take on the SPT. I too feel more connected to my long distance friends at times. I think in a way it's easier, especially at our stage of life when we are in the thick of raising our kids.
