Lunch
Today I took advantage of Laren being home with a bum leg and went in to help out as I regularly do. And then I went back to have lunch at the school with my 4 older kids, though I didn't really eat with them. Who likes those school lunches anyway?
Rilyn, because she was done with Kindergarten stayed with me the whole time. She enjoys having lunch with the big kids.
I love "having lunch" with my kids because it is so telling as to what is really going on at school. I get to find out who this person is and who that person was that they might have mentioned in passing the other day as they were talking about their day.
I find out interesting things about their friends and what makes them tick. I get to share some fun time with my kids in middle of their school day. I'm so glad I took the time to do this today.

What a great mom you are for having lunch with your kids at school. I need to do that more often.
I am also for MITT :)
Oh i got my rooster at cute little store in my mall.
I love shopping there!
What a good little Mummy you are!
The joys of having children, I can't wait!

My youngest begs me EVERY day to come have lunch with her... I never do because frankly, I was totally turned off from school lunch after 12 years of eating it EVERY day and my mom was a lunch lady and would bring home leftovers for dinner ... LOL I never want to eat it AGAIN!
I never thought of just going and sitting with her, though. I could do that.
You are such a good mom, and an inspirational friend. Thanks!
I've only done this one this year and it is a lot of fun. You make me want to do it again.
I too have only done this once this year (for Jared's birthday) I do think it's interesting what little kids talk about though. Good for you eating with them!
What a wonderful Mom you are! I am sure that the kids loved having you there too! How is your husband feeling? I have been home with Jake this week. Today has been his first real good day! I am so glad he is making progress! :)
