I could blog about how we were 18 below last night and how we are still 2 below zero at 10:00 this morning. (We are supposed to reach a high of 7 degrees above today). But instead, I'm going to tell you about these beautiful flowers!
I came home from taking Kyle to basketball practice and Laren had come home while I was gone. As soon as I walked in the door I saw this beautiful bouquet of flowers sitting on the kitchen table!
Actually, it was not just the flowers but the flowers and this candy!! That was SO sweet of him!! On these cold winter days and nights with the busy-ness and stresses of life, it is SO nice to feel loved!
Typically my husband is not a big romantic, but he is great husband, helpmeet, father and friend!! He is a great Dad and all 5 of our kids love him. He is the softy they can go to who they know will always help them.
He has walked with me and even carried me through some of my stormiest times in life! And though this is not the stormiest time in life, it is not an easy time in life either! And so that beautiful bouquet is evidence of how he helps me through the hard times.
