Loving the Life you LIVE
I know we haven't yet gotten to Christmas, but I can't help but to look forward a bit. Lately, as I'm living my life, going about my daily chores, running my errands, taking care of my sick/healthy kids, etc... I have been asking myself if I'm loving the life I live or if I need to change some things about it to reach my goals in life and fulfill my dreams.
It's a thought constantly on my mind. It occupies my mind even more as the new year approaches. If I don't love my life, what needs changing so I can love it? The more I ponder this question, the more I realize I do love my life. If I didn't love it, I wouldn't be living this way if that makes sense at all.
When I encounter a struggle or frustration I inwardly tell myself, I wouldn't have chosen this. But then I start to think about how this struggle might help me on my "big picture" journey in life. And I am then able, usually, to put it into some perspective and see how the puzzle piece fits into my life.
I think most people, even though they may not readily agree, are loving the life they live because if they didn't they would change it. So, with the New Year I'm going to be closely assessing my own life and see how it balances with my hopes and dreams.

Thank you for your thoughts. I have been thinking about the big picture in my life and looking at all the little things that make it up. Those little things that can be so trying and on the other hand things that are so lovely. I am excited to make some little changes that I feel will impact the big picture. :)
