A Sad Day...

A Sad Day...

A Sad Day...Yesterday my Mom's husband, passed away. He was such a great man. We all loved him. He will be surely missed. He was such a blessing to have join our family when my Mom married him 11 years ago.

He had a fun sense of humor and was one of the hardest working men I've ever known. He was a logger, a sawyer/tree faller, most of his life. He became ill having strokes shortly after he had open heart surgery on his "widow-maker" valve in his heart 2 1/2 years ago.

He was a guy who would spend all his waking hours working out on his 5 acres, building this, fixing that and looking for any opportunity to fall a tree on the wooded acres where he lived. He only came in for meals, and he loved having a hot meal 3x a day!

We are so sad to see him leave this earthly life. But we are happy to know that he is free from his earthly physical struggles. And we know we will see him again someday.

Kari, Will you be going to the funeral? Do you think there will be any trouble from his children towards your mother? Anyhow, please accept my sympathy and extend it to your mother for me.
